Consultation for change for Admissions for 2019/20 onward

We would like to change admissions criteria for 2019/20 onwards. Changes have been made to incorporate new admissions criteria iii & iv.

  • Governors propose to add criterion iii, which offers priority to children of teaching staff at St Mary’s School
  • Governors also propose to add criterion iv, which offers priority to children of clergy of the parish of St Mary’s Church Hampton.

These changes are being made to assist in the possible recruitment of teaching staff, and of parish clergy who may be required to relocate at short notice in connection with their work in the parish which supports the school.

You can also find the full pdf Admissions Policy 2019 draft document here (840 KB) . If you would like a paper copy, you are welcome to collect this from the school.

The consultation period is 6 weeks and will run from 3 October 2017 to 15 November 2017 inclusive. If you would like to make a comment in support or against this proposal, please write to us at the school address or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by 15 November, 5.00pm, which is the closing date for receipt of comments.

Following this date, the Governing Body will consider all comments and finalise the determined admissions arrangements for the 2019/20 intake.

Yours sincerely,
